Title: Air-Ground Communication Issues at KJFK

Happened to hear this take place at KJFK on December 3rd at around 10PM EST.  Sudden communication issues; you could hear the aircraft and the tower, but for some reason they couldn't always hear each other....it sounded like there also may have been comm issues on 118.4 (NY Approach ROBER); at one point you hear AAL326 call the tower saying they get the controller on 118.4...
