Good god, the Aussies are harder to understand than the mainland Chinese. As Churchill quipped, "Two peoples separated by a common language". or some such. Cheers.

I had no problem understanding them at all. However, it could be for the fact that I lived there for 2 years and have become completely used to the accent.

Now.. get an Aussie together with someone with a southern drawl, and then watch the sparks fly. ;)
