7/26/07 1930Z Archive:

At 3:42 EDT on 7/26/07, A Falcon Jet, EJA259, was cruisning over upstate New York at 43,000 feet and 450 knots when the right side windshield shattered. An immediate emergency descent was made down to 5100 feet. Interesting to note that he went from 43,000 to below 16,000 in 4 minutes, giving an average descent rate of about 7000 ft/min.
The audio picks up when he makes first contact with Syracuse tower.
