PAE-->SEA. Ferry flight. Engine caught fire after landing 16L.

(Side note: who's the KSEA feed provider? Any way to improve the sound quality for Ground?)

Right now the Ground quality is as good as we can manage from our current receiver location...LiveATC runs this particular feed. Ground pickup is tough when planes get behind terminal buildings, etc.

that reception is even tough for the local ground facility sometimes.

at JFK for instance at the general aviation terminal or the approach end of 13R message are sometimes relayed via other planes.

Haven't heard it too often though :)

As someone who lives in the Seattle metro area, I can imagine how difficult getting good reception for any feed can be given all the city's hills!
