Title: 3 May: American 970 fumes, autopilot, autothrottle, other failures divert to SGF

American 970, MD82, reported fumes a smell of burning, autopilot and autothrottle failure and airspeed indicator problem declared an emergency and diverted to Springfield-Branson National Airport. They also requested no-gyro vectors to final.
