He first reported a major system failure and that he was turning around to land at Lake Wales airport. He later said that he thought he had a vacuum failure and also had loss of power and would'n make it to the airport. He landed safely on a road.

I was the pilot of the this plane. Early reports are a sheared crankshaft. Was able to safely land in a field. No injuries and no apparent damage to the airframe. I'd love to find the ATC audio of this if you know of a good way to access it.

I watched your youtube video also, thanks for doing it. You mentioned you didn't know how you got it on the ground no damage no injuries, the answer you are looking for is excellent aviating.
