The aircraft force landed on an airport access road without injury to the sole person on board.

DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) – An airplane attempting to land at the Denton Municipal Airport, in the 5000 block of Airport Road, was forced to make an emergency landing on a nearby roadway.

The plane was able to land safely on Jim Christal Road, about a mile north of a runway at the airport.

Hi guys,

There's something wrong here. So the 300SX is the one having the emergency here in the audio but the link and pictures show a Cessna N35451 apparently dated on 23th January 2017.

So I guess that link and news is not related to this particular incident. I have not access to Kathryn's Report either by the way.

Quite right of course Victor. Many thanks for drawing it to my attention.
I must confess I didn't use the link. Unfortunately I failed to spot what is pretty obvious error given that the date of the earlier incident actually appears in the link.
Another example I'm afraid of how careful we need to be when sourcing stuff on the web.

Naturally, I'm relieved to learn that I'm not alone being unable to access Kathryn's Report this evening. Hopefully the issue will soon be rectified. It was soon fixed  when the same situation arose a few months ago.
