A Delta Airlines Airbus A321-200 performing flight DL-800 from Boston,MA to Atlanta,GA (USA), landed on Atlanta's runway 26R at 17:39Z. but struck its tail onto the runway surface. The NTSB has rated the occurrence an accident reporting the aircraft sustained substantial damage to the fuselage.
There is no reference to the tail strike in the archived audio files but the Tower controller issues warnings about wind sheer several times to subsequent arrivals. My audio clip contains a couple of examples.
