(audio too faint if him as he headed north to FL37, but he was uninjured.  the ATC's at KPBI are the best !)

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (WPEC) — It was a close call for a pilot attempting to land at Treasure Coast Air Park Friday Morning.

Photos provided by the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office show a Piper Aztec plane made a landing without its front landing gear, causing it to lean forward on its belly.

The Sheriff's office said the pilot was uninjured and able to leave the aircraft without any help.
