Title: 14 July: Pilot dies in small plane crash on El Monte runway.

Aerial footage showed the plane had gone down on El Monte Airport's sole runway. The aircraft had crashed during or right after its departure, said Ian Gregor, a public affairs manager for the Federal Aviation Administration.
