"That'd be 24 years down the drain."

JFK Tower has an exchange with "Emirates 7221 Super" to SFO. Included in the beginning is some taxi instructions and some instructions with JFK Departure.

Also attached is a photo of UAE7221 flying over my house at around 17,000.

Yeah, he's a pretty cool guy.  Usually working with him gets entertaining.

Was lucky (or unlucky) enough to get stuck in JFK with their 5+ hour delays yesterday and got to see the A388 land ong 22R, turn off, get stuck behind an MD80 that got had to be towed in.

I take it "super" is the new phrasology for the next step up from "heavy"?

Yes, there's heavy fat, then there's super fat.

How is "super" denoted in the a/c type box on the flightplan?  I looked at this flight on flightaware and just see the H.

I really enjoy listening to "good flight, great day" guy, he's very entertaining.  It was strange listening to the controllers talking so slowly to emirates, no one wanted any misunderstandings.  Great clip, thanks for sharing.
